bot-memory is plain-markdown memory for a team of AI bots that work for one person: master files for the owner and standing rules, one file per project and one file per bot. Writes go through a small append-only tool that takes a lock, checks optional per-bot write permissions, refuses text that looks like a password, key or token, and records each change in a hash-chained log so edits made outside the tool show up. No database or service, just files and Python 3. The checks are pattern-based and meant to catch mistakes, not to replace a secret manager.
